 		SSL optional SSL required
outgoing (SMTP) server name: email.mtu.edu 25
(if your ISP blocks 25, we also allow port 2525 and 2526)		 SSL optional TLS/SSLv.3 required and password authentication required

Note: You will need to follow your mail client's documentation. Not all clients have all needed functionality.
