Configuring > KMail for IMAP server

1. Open KMail and go to Settings -> Configure KMail... [Image]
2. Click on Accounts and then click Add... [Image]
3. Choose IMAP and click OK [Image]
4. Complete the following information: [Image]
   * The name you would like for your account (for example, *MTU Email*)
   * Your User ID under Login
   * Your password
   * Host: email.mtu.edu
   * Port: 993
5. Then click on the Security tab and choose Use SSL for secure mail download under Encryption then click OK [Image]
6. Go to the Sending tab and click Add, then choose SMTP and click OK [Image]
7. Complete the following information: [Image]
   * The name you would like for the SMTP server (for example, *MTU SMTP Server*)
   * Host: email.mtu.edu
   * Port: 25 (or 2525 for off-campus users)
   * Check Server requires authentication then fill in the two textboxes with your User ID and password
8. Go to the Security tab and choose TLS under Encryption and click OK [Image]
9. Go to Identities and select the Default identity and click Modify [Image]
10. Type in your name, organization (optional), and e-mail address and click OK to close that window, then click OK to close the Configuration window [Image]
